Your Initial Consultation

When you visit a new medical spa for the first time, it's normal to feel a little nervous. After all, you are entrusting the largest organ to someone new. To help put your mind at ease and ensure you have the best possible experience, it's important to be prepared for your initial consultation. Here are a few things you should be sure to share with your doctor.

When it comes to getting a med spa consultation, it is often recommended that you do not wear makeup. This allows your physician to get a clear picture of possible active acne, especially cystic acne and identify any future risk that may be affecting its health. In addition, going bare-faced helps to eliminate the risk of makeup interfering with any analysis or tests being performed during the consultation.

Be ready to discuss your current routine in detail with your doctor. This includes everything from the cleansers and moisturizers you use on a daily basis to any recent changes (such as pregnancy or menopause) that might affect your Fractora skin treatment. The more information you can provide, the better equipped your doctor will be to make recommendations for skin rejuvenation treatments and products that are right for you.

Next, be sure to share your medical history with your doctor. This information is critical in helping your doctor determine which treatments and products are right for you. For example, if you have a family history of skin cancer, your doctor may recommend additional precautions, such as regular mole checks or wearing sunscreen every day. It's always important to avoid direct sun exposure if possible.

Finally, be sure to communicate your goals for treatment clearly. Whether you're looking to address specific concerns, such as fine lines and wrinkles or sun damage, or you just want a youthful appearance, sharing your goals will help your doctor develop a treatment plan that's right for you.

Whether you're new to medical spas or you've been visiting them for years, it's always important to be prepared for your initial consultation. Be ready to discuss your current care routine, medical history, and goals for treatment so that your doctor can customize a plan that's right for you. By taking the time to prepare before your appointment, you can help ensure that you have the best possible experience at the medical spa.

Protect yourself from the sun

The sun is important for our survival, it can also be dangerous. Too much sun exposure can cause sunburn, skin cancer, and other health problems. That’s why it’s important to protect yourself from the sun before and after the treatment session.

If you’re going to be in the sun for a long period of time, you should apply broad spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher. Finally, you can avoid tanning beds. Tanning beds emit ultraviolet radiation that can damage your skin just like the sun’s ultraviolet radiation.

Before undergoing a treatment at a med spa, it is important to understand the difference between Fractora before and after treatment. On the surface, Fractora or other similar treatments may appear to be a simple procedure to improve the look.

However, this type of non-invasive cosmetic procedure can actually involve some complex changes in your skin cells and underlying tissue. Specifically, after Fractora or other similar med spa procedures, there may be an increase in collagen production, allowing your skin to appear more youthful and smooth. Additionally, these procedures may also result in improved skin elasticity and increased blood flow to the area. Overall, if you are considering a med spa treatment like Fractora, it is essential to have a clear understanding of what to expect both before and after your procedure for optimal results.
